| So the [Great] Tribulation would have had to end before 1 November 1755. Did it? |

| The persecution of the church did not continue throughout the entire period of the 1260 years. God in mercy to his people cut short the time of their fiery trial. {1888 GC88 266.3} |
| At the close of the great papal persecution, Christ declared, the sun should be darkened, and the moon should not give her light. {1898 DA 632.1} |
| Therefore, papal persecution must have ended before 13 May 1780? |

| Also note the order of the historical events: The Lisbon earthquake shook the EARTH – it was the FIRST of the 3 events. |
| But Matthew 24:29-30 / Mark 13:24-26 state that “the powers that are in HEAVEN shall be shaken” – this is the LAST of the 3 events. |

| Therefore, are the Matthew 24:29-30 / Mark 13:24-26 events still to occur? |

| So it appears that there will be another occurrence which will fulfil these conditions and occur in the same order as Scripture dictates. |

| Many secular churches incorrectly take Daniel 9:24-26 along with other texts as being futuristic. From this incorrect understanding, they deduce that there will be a 7 year period of [great] tribulation immediately prior to the Second Coming of Jesus. |

| Matthew 24:21 For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, SUCH AS WAS NOT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD to this time, no, nor ever shall be. |
| Matthew 24:22 And EXCEPT THOSE DAYS SHOULD BE SHORTENED, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. |

| Here we saw that: |
| 210 days from Friday, 11 September, 2037 [the date for the Return of Jesus Christ] we get Friday, 13 February, 2037. |
| The significance of this February date was shown and also what will happen on this day. |
| That God / Jesus will use this date, the Friday 13th February, 2037 to reveal His Laws / the Ten Commandments to a corrupt world of sin. |
| It was also noted that 210 days = 7 months of [Hebrew] 30 days. |
| Interestingly, we could say that the 7 years of expected tribulation is actually 7 months. |
| However, there are no more time prophecies beyond 1844: |
| “And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer” (Revelation 10:5, 6). This message announces the end of the prophetic periods. The disappointment of those who expected to see our Lord in 1844 was indeed bitter to those who had so ardently looked for His appearing. | By Friday 13th February, 2037, the Sunday Laws would have been implemented and God’s Sabbath-keeping people will experience much tribulation. |
| But God’s Laws / the Ten Commandments have to be revealed so that all Jews who are sincere and God-fearing, along with all others, are given a chance to correct their spiritual life. |
