then, 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus, God’s Church is formed.
Putting the above altogether, furthers the Genesis 5 message (which was just up to Noah), and gives the following:
The God-Man is appointed, a mortal man of sorrow is born! The Glory of God shall come down from heaven and teach men that by means of His death He shall bring rest and comfort to those who mourn.
The fame of the stronghold of Babylon, and sorrow, extend their borders like a plant beyond the place of division (at the Tower of Babel). — But I will make Babylon fade away!
A friend also branches out, enraged with fury!
A glorious father, the father of a great multitude laughs as he outwits (his enemy). A righteous prince sees God! A mighty one fights! {He joins himself to an assembly, a glorious people whom he rescued, stranger(s) in a strange land, captives delivered by God!”}
One who praises the Lord breaks open a way into a safe place that is surrounded by a high wall.
Oh! my people who belong to the prince, a prophet clothed with strength and who serves (the Lord), is here! Out of love, this beloved one paid the price for peace in order to set the people free, bringing them into a spacious land.
My Father is the Lord, the healer of him whom the Lord judged and then raised up. The Lord has taken hold of me and the Lord is strong! Mighty is the Lord! My strength and help are in the Lord! The Lord is perfect! I took hold of the strength of the Lord and it made me forget my misery. Truly, (I am) the Master Builder whom the Lord God healed, whom the Lord raised up, whom the Lord upholds, did uphold and will uphold!
I have asked God about the ransomed of the Lord — those exiled in Babylon. My Father is awesome! God will raise up a helper, the Just One will the Lord raise up! God is my praise! God is the One who helps. May the Gift of Jacob increase in greatness, for God is with us — the Messiah and Saviour of those called out (of Babylon).
Note for {} bracketed portion above: This [Cain’s line] merely affirms what the godly line to Noah already states, thus, Cain’s line can be omitted with no loss to the code.
Finally, something else worthy of note.
Using the above genealogy list and calling Seth as generation 1, the 64th generation is Jesus.
In Gematria, 64 = Fellowship Broken.
In the Old Testament God spoken directly to His people and others.
At the time of Christ, Jesus spoke directly to His people and others.
There was “Fellowship” until Jesus died, rose and then ascended to Heaven – then the “Fellowship (was) Broken”.
10 days after that, the Holy Spirit was given to His people.
In Gematria, 10 = Testimony – Law and Responsibility – Ordinal Perfection / Completion – God’s Law – Trial – Testing – Account.
With no Godly Fellowship and with the power of the Holy Spirit yet to occur, the Apostles Testimony / Account would indeed have been subject to Trial and Testing!
S.o.P. cites:
But while the Son of God was being wounded, bruised and smitten for our transgressions and sins, all Heaven was watching over the scene, and every harp was hushed in silence while the Beloved of the Father was suffering. He died on Calvary’s cross–Angels witnessed it. He was laid in Joseph’s new tomb, and a heavy stone was rolled at the door of the sepulchre, and a guard placed around it to watch the tomb. But myriads of angels, bright and strong, were watching over his resting place, and at the appointed time, one of them was commissioned to “go roll away the stone from the door of the sepulchre.” And what could those keepers do? Feeble men! A little before they might have laughed at, and derided the Saviour of the world, as he hung upon the cross; but now the presence of one angel from glory causes them to become “as dead men.” The tomb could hold Jesus no longer, and he arose from the dead and appeared to his sorrowing disciples, and comforts them. He remained with them forty days, to bless, cheer and strengthen them, and then was taken up into heaven–a cloud received the one they so much loved out of their sight. And as they stood gazing into heaven, as he was taken away from them, two men [angels] in white apparel stood by them and inquired why they stood gazing up into heaven. Said these angels, “This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Precious, indeed, was this promise to those sorrowing disciples, that they should again see Jesus who was greatly beloved by them all. Precious also is this promise to every true follower of Christ. None who truly love Jesus will be sorry that he is coming again. And as they approach nearer to the coming of the Son of man, the true lovers of Jesus will look forward with joyous hope, and will seek to get all ready to behold him whom their souls loveth, who died to redeem them. [YI, April 1, 1854 par. 3]
These opponents of Christ and of the doctrines of the apostles, could but believe, although they refused to acknowledge, that Jesus had risen from the dead and remained on the earth for forty days afterward; the evidence was too convincing for them to doubt it. Yet, nevertheless, their hearts did not soften, nor their consciences smite them for the terrible deed they had committed in putting him to death. When the power from Heaven came upon the apostles in so remarkable a manner, fear held them from violence, but their bitterness and malice were unchanged. Five thousand had already embraced the new doctrine taught by the apostles, and both Pharisees and Sadducees decided among themselves that if those teachers were suffered to go unchecked, their own influence would be in greater danger than when Jesus was upon earth. If one or two discourses from the disciples could accomplish such marvelous results, the world would soon believe on Christ if they were left free, and the influence of priests and potentates would be lost. [3SP 278.2 1878]
What a wonderful Saviour we [can] have in Jesus Christ.
